Hi, I’m Maggie, the founder of Maggie’s Facepainting and Body Art. I hold a BA (Hons) degree in Business Management and an MA in Human Resource Management, and I spent 15 years working in HR and project management roles. I grew up in Prague, Czechia, where I lived for the first 19 years of my life before moving to England in 2002.

 

Just before the birth of my second daughter, I took a career break and during that time, thanks to my children, I discovered my passion for face painting.

What began as a creative activity at home quickly grew into something more. I started exploring the art of face painting, learning new techniques, attending courses, and continuously developing my skills.

 

In April 2025, Maggie’s Facepainting and Body Art was officially born.

 

Since then, I’ve had the joy of delivering face painting and body art services at birthday parties, sports events, school and work events, and festivals. As a parent of young children, I’ve developed a calm, patient approach that helps children feel comfortable. I love creating colourful designs that bring smiles and excitement to people of all ages. I absolutely love what I do—making people smile!
